Description

Come along to learn new techniques in the second half of dessert making. The course will cover:
Baked Cheesecake; making a baked cheesecake filling and base, lining of tins, cooking methods and finishing techniques
Choux Buns; making choux pastry with a craquelin top, the filling and finishing of choux buns
Creme Brulee; the making, cooking and finishing process of a Creme Brulee for that caramelised finish. Please bring your own ceramic ramekins to cook and these in as they will need to go home with you.
This course could link to further study including a Level 2 Food Safety, or part time study within the department, covering Level 2 Food Production and Cooking, or Level 2 Professional Cookery.
Please bring your own take-away containers and bags to transport your goods home at the end of the course as well as the ceramic ramekins for the crème brulees.
